Drumming Canada Member

organized by the Legacy 150 Celebrations Society, a respected Vancouver‑based non‑profit registered both federally and provincially, the annual Canada Day Drumming Celebration (CDDC) is a dynamic and inclusive event that brings communities together through the universal rhythm of percussive arts. Rooted in one of the world’s most ancient and widely embraced art forms, the celebration not only honors Canada’s rich multicultural heritage, but also inspires deeper intercultural understanding, fosters a shared sense of patriotism, and encourages meaningful civic engagement among participants of all ages and backgrounds. By uniting drummers and spectators from coast to coast—and increasingly around the globe—the Canada Day Drumming Celebration transforms rhythm into a powerful symbol of unity, diversity, harmony, and collective joy, making Canada Day truly memorable for communities far beyond Vancouver
